About Me
About Me
Here are some things that you may want to know about me before making the important decision of calling for an appointment.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #2826) and Certified Addiction Counselor (CACII #7132) in the State of Colorado.
I obtained my Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Adams State College, Alamosa, CO in May 1999 and my LPC license in June 2001. Previous to that I obtained a diploma in Clinical Therapeutic Pedagogy at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, in 1988 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Colorado State University, Pueblo, in 1996.
I have several years of experience working in residential treatment facilities for older children and adolescents and for persons with developmental delays. During the last 15 years I have worked some in inpatient, but mostly outpatient mental health centers. For 13+ years I was an employee at Spanish Peaks Behavioral Health Center in Pueblo where I started as an intern, then was hired as a therapist and during the last 5 years became a clinical supervisor while still providing therapy services to clients as well.
Born to Swiss parents, I have lived in Europe for many years where I underwent most of my formal schooling. I have travelled extensively and have lived in many different places. While I have been exposed to many different cultural settings, I pride myself in having an inquisitive and open mind and treating every client and family as the unique individuals that they are.

"Fear is the cheapest room in the house.
I would like to see you living in better conditions."
